Open Fields (if you join either of these, you cannot participate in the race. To summarise: Games: 1 - Super Mario World - No Star Road 2 - The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past - Master Sword 3 - Super Metroid - Any% (Speedrun Difficulty) Unfortunately though, the commentators and seed testers will not be allowed to participate in the race (but if this goes well, touch wood, we will definitely do it again with different games - maybe even bring a few games back). If anybody is up for commentating (and if they want) generating and playing seeds, let us know in this thread. We'll also need a few people to generate seeds for each game, to make it fair, so neither Mega or I have an advantage by knowing which seed is a good seed. Mega suggested that, if anybody wants to, they host a "base" stream, like what BestOfNES does with Big20, and have a few commentators. The games are categories we are playing, in order, are: 1 - Super Mario World - No Star Road 2 - The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past - Master Sword 3 - Super Metroid - Any% (Speedrun Mode) We want to try and get it a good time for everyone. It will likely be late night/early morning for the southern hemisphere, or afternoon/evening for the northern hemisphere. Times are currently being discussed by Mega and I. Sunday 3rd (for Southern Hemisphere) and Saturday 2nd (for Northern Hemisphere). The race will be held sometime at the start of July. So I was wondering if anyone in interested in joining. With the A Link to the Past Randomizer recently releasing, we're now using A Link to the Past over The Legend of Zelda. 3, The Legend of Zelda, Dragon Warrior and many others.Ībout a year ago, one of my friends (Megakidicarus) and I were talking about a Randomizer Triathlon, using Super Metroid, The Legend of Zelda and Super Mario World. Quite a few retro games have randomizers. 3, the level order and in The Legend of Zelda the dungeon locations, layouts and items. For those who aren't, randomizers randomize various factors in specific games.

So, I am sure many of us here are familiar with randomizers.
